SPRINGFIELD, IL – Lisa Kay Canum, 58, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019, at St. John’s Hospital.
She was born November 7, 1960, to Orlo and Helen (Wright) Burkholder, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Tully Canum on February 15, 1990, in Springfield.
Lisa was formerly employed by Bunn-o-matic, Thibodaux Regional and Memorial Medical Center. She loved her dogs. She enjoyed playing Bunco, flower gardening, reading, crocheting, cooking and baking. She loved shopping and bargain hunting.
She is survived by her husband, Tully; daughters, Sara (Curtis) Marcello and Britta Canum (Jennifer Mitchell); grandchildren, CJ Marcello IV, Elijah Wilson, Alexander Marcello, Layla Mitchell and Amaria Mitchell; sisters, Cindy Cleaver and Donna Burkholder; aunt, Mary Jane Wright; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2019, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home, with Pastor Andrew Wilson officiating a memorial service at 5:30 p.m.
