Lonnie LeBlanc Obituary

Lonnie James LeBlanc, 38, of Copperas Cove, Texas, passed away on June 25, 2014 in McGregor, Texas.

Funeral Services will be held at Heritage Funeral Home in Harker Heights, Texas on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 9:30am. Officiating will be Dr. Gary Blakeney, Minister of Bertram Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen at 11am. A visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday evening, from 5-7pm.

Lonnie was born in Aurora, Colorado on August 5, 1975. He served faithfully in the United States Marine Corps and retired on September 30, 2013 after 20 years of devoted service.

After his retirement in the United States Marine Corps, Lonnie became employed in the civilian workforce until he passed. Lonnie enjoyed reading, hunting, playing with his children, fishing and building things.

Lonnie is preceded in death by his parents; Linda L. LeBlanc and Marcel T. LeBlanc.

Lonnie is survived by his wife, Ashley Nicole LeBlanc; and two step-children, Kolby & Ashton Hobbie. Two brothers, Christopher Weimer of Michigan, and Edward Weimer of California; Uncle Howard and Uncle Karl; numerous Aunts; Marine Corps brother; and many close friends.

The family wishes to thank Lonnie's place of employment and coworkers for the support and visits through this very difficult time.
