Lorraine “Cookie” Morgan, age 69, was granted her angel wings and quietly slipped away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA. Lorraine was a former bus attendant and custodian with the Jefferson Parish Public School System.  Beloved wife of Perry Morgan. Devoted mother of Keisha Morgan (Corey) Hawkins, Curtis Morgan, and the late Reva Marie Morgan. Loving grandmother of Theron and ShaQuelle Williams, Corey Jr., Coryan and Terrnisha Hawkins, Isaaiah, Elijah, and Serenity Utley. Great grandmother of Aalayah Trent, Armon Sparks, Cameron Hawkins, Caden Hawkins, Zaniyah Williams, Carter Hawkins, and Khloe Williams. Daughter of the late Elijah and Jeanetta DeBoue. Sister of Lorena DeBoue, Mary Louise DeBoue, Jeanette DeBoue, Albertha Christophe, Leroy DeBoue, Thomas Mitchell DeBoue, Larry Joseph (Zakee Rahman) DeBoue, Edward James DeBoue, and the late Elijah Mickey Patterson, Audrey Lou Williams, Geraldine Mayho, Deloris DeBoue, Deborah Ann DeBoue, Mary Ann DeBoue Garrison, and Estelle DeBoue Williams. Sister-in-law of Charles, Larry, Jerry, Elaine, Freddie Louis, and Joanne Morgan, Evelyn Bell, Bernice Jones, and the late Walter Morgan. Lorraine is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 10:00a.m.  Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time.
