My Dearest and Precious Susan,
I cannot convey to you the deep sorrow I feel at the passing of your wonderful Dad. I cherish the few times
and events we shared with he and your Mom, as families we meshed so well with them sharing you as our other daughter! He spoke with us on several occasions about how much he appreciated Parrish being such an integral part of the Marchman family!
We were just as thrilled to be a part of the Marchman family.
I am so proud of the way you took such awesdome care of both your Mom and Dad. You are one special little girl. Gary and I Love you so much and want to be there for you always.
"Mac" was such an honorable man and one whom everyone respected highly!
you can walk tall in knowing what a wonderful heritage you carry.
We would love to be with you at this time of sorrow and pain but Gary is still having health issues. we WILL see you very soon.
Our Prayers have been with you for some time and continue as you travel this journey. God will keep
you in His fold and surround you with
a special peace, this is our prayer.
God Bless You, Angel
(your other Mom and Dad)

Susan,
I write this with deep regrets that I did not get up to visit one last time with your Dad before he died. I guess I didn't know really how sick he was. It makes me sad that I did not get up there right after we spoke on facebook. Although I never worked for him I admired him as an educator and spoke with him many times at Perry High and ball games. I considered him my friend and fellow educator. I have fond memories of talking with him as we would be pulling for Perry High at basketball and football games long after he left Perry and lived in Macon. I also did not know about all his experiences and accomplishments, but they were many. I just really enjoyed being in his company. Now, Susan you have had a hard time losing your mother, John, and now your Dad. But remember to keep the faith and one day y'all will be together again. May God have peace over you during your time of grief.

So sorry about the death of Mr. Marchman. He was my basketball coach in the 9th grade. We all loved him. He was also my principle for several years in late 50's, early 60's. Did not know about all his credentials since he did not talk about them. Was able to see him last when he came to our 45th H. S. reunion. My sympathy to his family.

My deepest sympathy extented to Mr. Marchman's family. One of the best principal that Perry Senior High has ever had. Someone that understood and cared for the students. Mr. Marchman
was there when I needed help and for that I say thanks. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Mr. Marchman hired me to teach science for him at Perry High in the early 70s. I credit his advice and counseling for stopping me from quitting several times that first year. I had a chance to thank him personally a while back for what an influence he had on me. He was a good man.

Susan, please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. Your Dad was such a great man and a wonderful mentor for so many students. We all admired and looked up to Mr. Mac. He was always fair and honest with us and treated us as individuals and with respect.
I am so happy my Mom and I were able to spend some time with both you and your Dad when I was in GA last week. I will treasure those moments forever.
I do hope you'll find some comfort in knowing that many share in your sorrow and we all have such wonderful memories of time spent with your Dad.
Please remember to take care of you...
With love,
