My dear friend Margaret, I am deeply saddened to hear of your passing. There is no one who has had a more profound impact on my career than my dear friend and mentor, Margaret Niederer. She instilled in me a passion for nursing home resident and older adult advocacy that has shaped my life for nearly three decades. Margaret was a confidante and a source of inspiration, always ready to share her ideas and provide a friendly laugh. Our friendship was truly transformative. She loved my wife and daughter dearly and shared invaluable wisdom on marriage and child-rearing. I am filled with gratitude for her unwavering love for the Lord and others. While I am heartbroken to know she has passed away, I find solace in the belief that we will reunite in Heaven. Thank you, Margaret, for everything you have done for us. We love you dearly!

I knew Ed well, but I knew Margaret only a little. I knew, though, how much he loved her. They are together now.
