Margaret Loucill Selby

1940 - 2026

Margaret Loucill Selby, 85 of Las Cruces, NM, left us bound for HEAVEN on January 30, 2026.

 Margaret was born in Maude, TX on July 16, 1940. Her parents were John Ford and Lorene Johnson Ford. Margaret was a faithful devoted Christian, a loving member of Faith Community Church. Bob and Margaret celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary January 10, 2026. Margaret was a beautiful loving wife, mother and grandmother, who loved her family, God and her church family and all the loved ones she so graciously thought of as her own. She loved to paint in earlier years, before all her beautiful grandchildren came along and the JOY it brought her to take care of and love each one unconditionally.

She is survived by her husband Bob G Selby, her daughter Jacquenda L. Selby, Jacquenda's son, Tyler A. Selby both of Las Cruces; Margaret's son Shawn K. Selby, wife Grace M. Selby, their children Alexa M. Selby, Ayson K. Selby and Alani R. Selby; and by her sisters Juanita Holder; Anna Sullivan (Robert) and her brother Bobby Ford. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Lorene Ford, her brothers Frank Beard; Johnny Ford and Margaret's sons Robert F Selby and Quenton D Selby.

Casket bearers will be Shawn Selby, Ayson Selby, Tyler Selby, Wesley Beard, Jr. Beard, and Steve Selby.

A Funeral Service will be held on March 6, 2026, at 11 :00 AM at Faith Community Church on 4895 W Picacho Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88007. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens on 5140 W Picacho Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88007 with Pastor Jeremy Sullivan officiating.

 The family has requested that friends and family be welcomed at Faith Community Church on 4895 W Picacho Ave, Las Cruces, NM 88007 for a potluck luncheon.
