In Loving Memory Of
Margaret “Peggy” Sullivan
July 21, 1941 - December 16, 2025
Margaret “Peggy” Sullivan lived with a loving heart, a curious spirit, and a deep appreciation for life’s simple, beautiful moments. She shared a devoted and loving marriage with her husband, the late Jim Sullivan, and together they built a life rich with laughter, love, and memories that will be cherished forever.
Peggy and Jim found great joy on the open road, spending countless days traveling near and far in their motorhome. She felt most at peace discovering new places, meeting new people, and soaking in the quiet beauty of nature. Whether parked beside a peaceful lake, surrounded by mountains, or watching the sun set at the end of the day, those moments brought her comfort and happiness. Family meant everything to Peggy. She treasured family gatherings and took joy in bringing everyone together, especially during her beloved Thanksgiving meals. Her home was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the feeling of togetherness. Peggy also cherished creating home movies, lovingly capturing everyday moments and special occasions so she could relive those precious memories time and again. She had a deep love for ancestry and genealogy, and she found great meaning in tracing her family history and preserving those stories for future generations.
Above all, Peggy will be remembered for her gentle spirit, kind heart, and the love she gave so freely. The devotion she shared with Jim, the care she showed her family, and the many memories she created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Peggy’s memory continues in the stories shared around the table, in family traditions she held dear, and in every open road, joyful gathering, and quiet moment that brings her smile to mind.
Peggy was the loving wife of the late Jim Sullivan; cherished mother of Kristen (Thomas) Sawyer; and a devoted grandmother to Allen (Lori) Smock, Donnie Gregory, Justin (Crystal) Collins, Tommy McFadden, Stephen Gregory, and Christina (Zach) Sawyer. She was a proud great-grandmother to Kaylee,Tyler, Kaden, and Wyatt. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Thomas McFadden. She was preceded in death by her children, Donald (Cheryl) Gregory and Cynthia (Ron) McFadden, and by her beloved grandson, Michael.
Visitation for Margaret will be Saturday, December 20, 2025 1pm until 8pm. Services will be Saturday, December 20, 2025 4pm. For the burial, we will be meeting at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home on Monday, December 22, to process to Woodmere Cemetery. Please meet at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph Rd. Mom, I Love you always and Forever . I miss you already. I wake up thinking of going to visit you today and I have to stop and think I can't anymore. In my heart ❤ you're there and mind but physically I can't hug you and take you outside into the sunshine of the spring day anymore. The casino is waiting for you and Cindy to go play some penny slots. We took you to the casino and your 84th Birthday balloons on your wheelchair and everyone was saying Happy Birthday to you as we went through the Motorcity . The people and staff at the Lodge of Taylor were so sweet and friendly to you and all of us. Made us all feel welcome and like Family. You touched their and they all will miss you also and give their love ❤ . Give grandma a hug and kiss from me and also to Jim, Jimmy, Cindy, Don, Michael , Dad, grandpa, Aunt Iris, Uncle Jess, Aunt Pat , Uncle Louie, Uncle Lynn and most of the family is now on the other side. We will see each other again with those great family reunions. The memories I hold dearly in my heart and mind. Camping trips with Jim and all of us and going to Walt Disney World, cypress Gardens, Myrtle Beach, oscoda up north , Higgins Lake water skiing and taught by Jim , New York , Kentucky . We went to a lot of places and theme parks. Mom, you made sure we all were taken care of always and had what we needed now you be in peace and rest knowing you completed your calling. Amen and Cheers to the Best Mother I was honored to have on this Earth. God is with you now
