Maria Ormsby Obituary
Surviving are her daughters Tina Ormsby of Toms River and Bernadette Ormsby of Georgia. Her grandchildren Brandon Ellis, Maria Hunter and Anthony Ellis also a great-granddaughter Rozalin Schuler.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be offered, 9:30 AM, Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Church of the Visitation, 755 Mantoloking Road, Brick Twp. A reception will follow downstairs.
Additional services will be held, 10 AM, Monday, February 13, 2017 at Our Lady of the Valley Church, Hornell New York.
Interment to follow in St. Ann's Cemetery and repast at Main Place.

I hope your hearts are comforted by the many who have been touched by sweet Maria. She was one of a kind, a friend to all and a beautiful Angel on this earth. I will miss her so very much. I will miss you terribly. You were my midnight special. Our long conversations while the world slept, we laughed for hours. How I will miss your kindness. With everything you had going on, you never complained or even mentioned it and only were concerned about others. You were my confident. You were an amazing friend. You have touched everyone with your beautiful you.
Now, sweet lady, you sleep with the angels. You will definitely be sitting at the feet of Jesus in Heaven. In Glory with our Lord to whom you loved so dear.

So sorry to read of Maria's passing. She always had a great smile and a genuine caring for others. I will miss seeing her at our high school reunions.

I haven't seen Maria in decades, but certainly remember her from Elizabeth Street days. There were so many of us on the street, we played together, and shared so much of our childhood there. I am so sorry to hear the sad news of Maria passing, but as long as she is remembered, she is not gone.

Maria was a special person who always had a kind word for all. It was a pleasure working with her for so many years, her baked goodies were to always a welcome treat and oh how she loved her Buffalo Bills...

Were are so sorry for the loss of your mom/sister. We all grew up together on Elizabeth St. & we were like family. Maria was such a sweetheart and I have so many wonderful memories of her. Tina and Bernadette, from my heart I cry for you as I read this sad news. Many of my earliest and happiest childhood memories are filled with you girls and your Mom when you would come to Elizabeth street for visits at your Grandma Mary's. As I think back through the years and all of the memories, one word comes to my mind and that is "FAMILY".
I can't even begin to recount all of special memories that I have of you all, but wrapped around each one of them is that word, "FAMILY". Birthday parties in the pizza shop...Jean Nate', beautiful hair do's, so many cousins that I couldn't keep them all straight... "Family". I could go on and on, but, through my tears, I will just close with this; I love all of you Fucci people, every single one of you, and I always will... Always.

Maria will always be in our hearts. I'll never forget her voice and how we laughed when I'd call.
