I'm so sad to hear about the untimely passing of such a wonderful lady. I hired Marie in 2000/2001 at Fidelity and she was a essential member of my HR team. Marie was a true professional and team player with a great sense of humor. Navigating in Fidelity isn't all that easy at times but she did it effortlessly by staying true to her commitment to helping employees and managers be their very best. On the day she interviewed with Fidelity, I offered to come "up town" to meet her in the offices of another division because the weather was so bad. She was sooooo appreciative that I would make that effort and when I arrived soaking wet, I think that won her over and she decided to come into my group instead of the other - boy, that was a good investment for me! Working along side with Marie, and people like Marie, was the greatest gift of my career. After we both left Fidelity, we remained in touch for awhile. She continued to have great stories that made me laugh. And she always included updates about the most important people in her life - her family. I'll cherish my memories of our conversations and the things we laughed about all while doing some very good work and helping the lives of others.

Dave and family,
I am so sad to hear about Marie's passing. She and I were in a lot of the same classes at NMRHS. She was serious about learning, and she was smart and beautiful and funny and fun.
Sending love and light to Marie and all who love her.

Saball Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Marie was such an amazing lady who really cared about others, especially her team. She was passionate about doing what was right, and she did everything in her power to work on behalf of tens of thousands employees over the years. She made a huge difference. She was a great mentor, coach, teacher, advocate, and friend. She had a brilliant mind and really impacted the lives of so many. She will be missed. I will miss her.
