Marilyn E. (Herman) Shollenberger, 88, of Slatington, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Carbon campus, Lehighton. She was the wife of the late Jack N. Shollenberger, Sr. Born in Allentown, July 24, 1937, Marilyn was the daughter of the late Edward and Sarah E. (Ervin) Herman. Marilyn will be forever remembered as a loving mom, grandma, and great-grandma.
Survivors: Children, Jack N. Shollenberger, Jr. (Donna) of Palmerton, Linda Kotch of New Jersey; brother, Richard Herman of Allentown; grandchildren, Matt, Kim, Megan, Josh; nine great-grandchildren; predeceased by a daughter, Patricia A. Grammes, five brothers, three sisters.
Service: A celebration of Marilyn’s life will be held at 11:00 am. Friday, December 19, 2025, followed by a luncheon all to be held at Bert’s Steakhouse, 416 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, PA 18071. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., in Schnecksville has been entrusted with the arrangements. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
