Mario Rivera Martinez was born to Leobardo and Irene Rivera in San Luis Potosí Mexico.
While in Mexico he decided to wrestle. For additional training he moved to Wichita Kansas in 1975.
He met his first wife and ended up settling in Wichita.
He worked for Chance Industries where he later retired. He also owned La Potosina on North Market as well as Mario’s on South Woodlawn.
He had 3 children- Martha Triana (Rene), Mario Rivera Jr, and Oswald Rivera.
He adored his grandchildren Veronica, Xavier, and Marco Triana, Ali Rivera, Ledger Shea, and Israel Rivera.
