Mark Branscombe Obituary
Mark was born in Portland, ME on November 22, 1952, the son of George R. and Mary (Rogan) Branscombe and was a lifelong resident of Rochester, NH. He was a member of the American Legion, and the Rochester Lodge of Elks and enjoyed playing sports in his youth.
Surviving members of the family include: three brothers, George Branscombe of Vero Beach, FL, Robert Branscombe of Watertown, MA and John Branscombe of Nottingham, NH, three sisiters, Mary Miller of Hampton, NH, Ann Maxfield of Springfield, VT and Liz Tremblay Strafford, NH and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held at the H. J. Grondin & Son Funeral Home, 177 North Main Street, Rochester, NH on Thursday, 7/23/15, from 6:00 to 8:00pm followed by a pray service at 8:00pm in the chapel of the funeral home. To sign the on-line guest book, please visit www.GrondinFuneralHome.com.

What a great guy. Always so glad to see him, and always a laugh when we met. Especially remember his regular attendance when we used to play pick -up softball games on the Common in the summer. And of course there was the Wheel-on-Inn times. I was lucky to have known him as a friend.

He could light up a room just with his smile and make you laugh until you cry. Spent most of my teenage years together with him, Steve, Donavan, Dini, Sue, Debbie and Bobby in Milton and Gonic. My thoughts are with Marky-Pete's family. My family adored him and he will be sorely missed. He was a great guy and I know my Uncle Mark (Donovan) will never be the same. Dear Branscombe family,

My heart if full of sorrow I have lost a dear friend that I have loved and still love. He was one of a kind. Soft soul, kind heart and full of laughs. He has been part of my family for over 25 years and he was loved dearly. My children grew up with Mark Peter and they loved him very much he brought so much joy to them, camping and fishing and just playing in the pool. Pete....you now are home with our heavenly father and your Mom and Dad....bet my Mom was there waiting for ya too.
