Mark was born on June 21, 1952 in Memphis, TN. He was a graduate of Christian Brothers High School, class of 71. He raised his children in Drummonds, TN. In the early 2000s he moved to Indiana where he eventually met and fell in love with Cathy. They had 18 blissful years of traveling and enjoying one another’s company. Outside of spending time with his family, Mark enjoyed anything computer and technology related. He was also very proud to be a 15-plus, gallon blood donor.

I found out about Mark's passing today, nearly 14 months later. I knew he hadn't been feeling well and that was 16 months ago.
What a guy! Kind to all, helpful, and his sense of humor was terrific.
I knew him through HP / Lilly. He knew everything and was great mentor indeed. I thoroughly enjoyed his easy, Southern manner. I used to call him Markie Mark. We enjoyed lunches a few times and a lot of laughter.
Heaven gained an angel. Rest in Peace, Markie Mark!

Mark was a loving beautiful person. His smile, and easy spirited personality made him a joy to be around, and He sure made some of the best ribs around Lebanon!
Rest easy friend,
See you again soon

I met Mark at Arrow Electronics where we worked together. He rapidly became a good friend and that friendship continued after that company moved away. I helped bring him to work with me when we did IT for Eli Lilly. He is just the best person to have in your life. His smile and warm personality always brightened up your day. He would share his family dish of homemade ravioli with me even though I would joke with him about it being from a can of Chef Boyardi. I'm sorry Mark that we didn't spend more time together. I loved you and am so glad we were friends. Thanks for letting me be a friend, I'll miss you.

So sad to hear about Mark's passing. We went to school together for years at St. Louis and Christian Brothers in Memphis. I wish his family peace and am sorry for their loss.
