Marsha Velasco Obituary
Marsha Velasco, 69, died peacefully after an illness on May 4, 2017. She was surrounded by her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Carlos Benitez Jr. (Chucky) and daughter Mandy Pena. Her brother Gary Velasco and cousin Karen Shurdan. Also, survived by many nephews and nieces as well as generations of great and great-great nephews and nieces. Marsha was a Gilroyan to the T. She was an iconic person of her time and always the life of the party. She will be dearly missed. Marsha and I were next door neighbors through our teen years. She was quick to laugh and we had some fun times together with her cousin Karen. Knowing Marsha, I'll bet she's laughing now.
