Marshall H. Zander, age 80, of Glenwood. Marine Corp Veteran of the Korean War. Beloved husband of Carol Zander nee Leinen. Dear brother of Lynette (Carl) Brown, Alan (Sharon) Zander and Susan (Wayne) Marz. Fond Uncle of Jeffrey Brown, Steve Marz, Scott Marz, Kevin (Debbie) Marz and Robert Leinen. Carpenter for over 40 years. Thornton H.S. Graduate. Member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Thornton. Past President of the South East Suburban Chapter of the Illinois Pilot's Association. Visitation and Funeral Service Friday March 2 9am until time of service at 11am at the Tews Funeral Home 18230 Dixie Highway in Homewood. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Carol,
Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Marshall. I can still fondly remember the times when I was a little kid, coming down and spending time with Marshall. He was almost like a second father to me in those days.
