Martha E. Ortiz Toner

1955 - 2026

On this morning, February 19, we lost one of the kindest and sweetest souls to ever grace this world, Martha Ortiz Toner.

Martha was the embodiment of devotion and love. As a daughter, she cherished and honored her family with a heart full of gratitude.

As a wife, she was steadfast, supportive, and deeply loving. As a cousin and aunt, she brought warmth, laughter, and unwavering care. And as a friend, she was a rare and beautiful gift, loyal, sincere, and endlessly compassionate.

To know Martha was to experience her light. She had a contagious spirit and a radiant smile that could brighten even the darkest room.

Her presence made others feel comfortable, valued, and understood. She carried herself with grace and humility, always putting others before herself and giving without ever expecting anything in return.

Her sweetness was something you could feel...in her words, in her embrace, and in the thoughtful ways she showed up for people she loved. The world feels a little sadder today without her in it, but it is forever better because she was here. 

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that her love lives on in the countless lives she touched. 

May she rest in eternal peace.
