Mary Bellicini Obituary
Mary Bellicini, 94, of New Eagle, died Sunday, August 13, 2017 in the Washington County Health Center. She was born May 20, 1923 in Monongahela and was the daughter of Frank and Margaret Moncini Bedogne, who migrated from Capo di Ponte, Italy .
Mary was a member of the former St. Anthonys Church, now St. Damien of Molokai Parish in Monongahela and was devoted to praying the rosaries daily. For numerous years, she was a beautician in Monongahela working at various beauty salons. Mary enjoyed shopping, taking walks and cooking Italian and French foods. She was a former member of the Sunnyside Gallatin Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Barber and husband Brad of Monongahela; granddaughter, Catharine "Casey" Ste. Marie and husband Andrew; brother, Charles Bedogne and wife Marilyn of Ashtabula, Ohio; sister-in-law, Rose Marie Bedogne of Ashland, Oregon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Bellicini who died September 23, 1986; son, Leo Bellicini, Jr. who died April 7, 2013; and brother, Frank Bedogne, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to the Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 W. Main Street, Monongahela on Tuesday August 15, 2017 for funeral prayers that will begin at noon, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 12:30 PM in St. Damien of Molokai Church with the Rev. William Terza, pastor as celebrant. Committal prayers and interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela.
