Mary Millicent "Mimi" (nee Wolucka) Dancho

Mary "Mimi" Dancho, Age 62 of Crown Point, Indiana fought a long, brave battle with Cancer and went to join her parents, Rose and Stan.  She was also predeceased by grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.

She leaves behind the love of her life and husband, Joe Dancho, her brother, Stan Wolucka, Sisters-in-law Marlisa Wright and Kimberly (Wolucka) Cosman, Fur Baby Izzy and many, many friends.

Mary was a sweet woman who loved her family, friends and dogs. She was creative and was always working on a new project. Mary graduated from Hammond High School in 1981. She was kind and giving to everyone. We will all miss her but none more than Joe. They have been together since he was 14 years old and she was 16 years old, truly most of their lives. They were married 41 years.

Mary was a member of St. Michael's Orthodox Church.

Joe will be present to greet friends and family for a Visitation on Monday, January 20, 2025 from 4:00 PM–8:00 PM at Solan-Pruzin Funeral Home, 14 Kennedy Ave., Schererville, IN. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond, IN.
