Not sure what to say?

I am so heartbroken to hear of Mary’s passing. I met Mary through her grandson Dylan. Dylan and my son Trevor were really good friends. The boys played on the same baseball teams and Mary never missed a game. She was like a 2nd grandma to not only my son but all the kids that would hang out at her house. I would just like to say thank you to her and her family for being the amazing people you are. I take comfort in knowing that Trevor will have Mary with him to keep him in line. You both are...

When our family first moved down to Riverton, Mary was a neighbor across redwood road from us and also at church. She was always so sweet and kind and I loved talking to her. I haven't seen for a long time, but I have memories of the wonderful person she is. Prayers of peace and comfort for your family. Colleen Van Wagoner.

Mary was so kind and loving to everyone around her. She lived a life of service to others. She will be missed.

Mary's Obituary

Born on May 20, 1940, to Thomas Rabb and Pearl Oberg, Mary returned home on October 26, 2025. Mary lived a life rooted in love, kindness, and service. She was a devoted mother, daughter, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose heart was always open to those around her. A lifelong and active member of the Mormon Church, Mary found joy in simple moments—crafting, crocheting, solving puzzles, and spending time outdoors. Whether she was fishing by the water’s edge, camping beneath the stars, or taking a peaceful drive, Mary carried a quiet appreciation for the beauty of life.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Jacobson, and her son, Mike Jacobson.

Mary is survived by her brother, Tom Rabb (Cathy); her daughters, Sherry Stoedter and Annette Taylor (Dennis), Kristine Hill; and her son, Kent Jacobson, Kristine Hill. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren—Robert Stoedter, Steven Stoedter, Becky Taylor, Corby Hill, Dylan Jacobson, Tymnee Jacobson and Isea Hill—and her great-grandchildren—Rylee Stoedter, Rosie Stoedter, Kamden Jacobson, Iyla Jacobson, Shaylee Taylor, and Cambria Roth—along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her gentle spirit and generous love will live on in every memory shared.

A viewing will be held on November 7, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Broomhead Funeral Home located at 12600 S. 2200 W., Riverton, Ut and one hour prior to services. The funeral service will be held at Mary’s Ward on November 8, 2025, at 11:00 am located at 11970 South 1940 West, Riverton, Ut.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to assist with funeral expenses at Broomhead Funeral Home.
