Mary Margaret Korody

1945 - 2024

Mary M. Korody, a beloved wife, mother, and friend passed away peacefully at home in Stevenson Ranch, California on July 6th 2024 at the age of 79. Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey in 1945 to Christian and Elizabeth Kaisen, she attended Jonathan Dayton Regional High School in Springfield, New Jersey. She met her future husband, Philip, while involved with the “Junior Achievement” extracurricular program. They were married for 59 years.

 

Some of Mary’s favorite pastimes included vacations such as Hawaii and wandering Solvang, quilting, genealogy research, attending musicals, visits to the beach and a lifelong love of books. However, nothing brought her more happiness than being with family.

 

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Elizabeth “Betty” and Ruth. Mary is survived by her husband Philip, and two children, Marisa and Todd. She is also survived by three grandchildren, William, Joshua and Autumn.
