Mary McGuire Obituary
Mary met her future husband Thomas L. McGuire in 1953 while he was stationed at Kirknewton Air Force Base, Scotland.
They married December 11,1954. Tom and Mary's daughter, Brenda was also born in Edinburgh, Scotland on September 25, 1955. Mary and Tom moved to Ithaca, New York working at the family business, McGuire Gardens. Daughter, Karen was born July 6,1960.
Mary loved her family and had a great sense of humor, she will be sorely missed. Leaving behind many relatives still in Scotland and England as well as, husband Tom McGuire, daughters Brenda McGuire Huston Hoose (Bill}, and Karen McGuire Van Etten(Jerry) grandsons, Weston Harkness McGuire and Scott McGuire Van Etten. Sisters -in law, Teen Smith (Donnie}, Bessie McGuire and Anne Akers and friends Sandy Brown and Florence Pesu, along with many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be at Bangs Funeral Home, Wednesday October 11, 2017 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral service to immediately follow with Pastor Mike Kelly
presiding.
Donations in Mary's name may be sent to the Tompkins County S.P.C. A.
