Mary Jane would dispatch for the Vermont State Police at Derby while I dispatched out of B Troop HQ in St. Johnsbury, both of us on the 4 to midnight shift. We supported each other and our troopers long before there was 911. That cooperation resulted in a greater deal of safety for law enforcement personnel in the Northeast Kingdom. She was a professional. People were safer because Mary Jane cared for them. I will miss her and our time together on the radio.

I met Mary Jane on May 8th, 1965. Alan(Butch) Washkewits, my new husband of 1 day. We visited her when possible, always welcomed. Alan passed away on Feb 20, 2015! I have many happy memories of her and her family. Love Jackie

Sending deepest sympathy to her family ,may she be at rest. She was a real asset to Orleans County . She truly lived for her family. She will be missed

My deepest sympathies to the Turner Family. Sending Prayers of comfort.
