Matias Ines Jr. Obituary
Matt was born in San Fernando on January 1, 1949 to his parents Benjamita Ines and Matias Ines Sr originally from the Philippines. His music was very well known throughout the entire San Fernando Valley and was a musician most of his life playing the keyboard and Saxophone.
He is survived by his wife Mary Ines, his mother Benjamita Ines, his sister Gladys and his children Christine,Ben, Celina, Benny, Joe, Eugene, Rosie, Ronnie and Marleana and his grandchildren Devion, Grace, Noella, Abel, Isabella,Guilliana Caldera, and Ariana, Gabriel, Matthew Ines .
Family & Friends will be gathering on Thursday June 25 at JT Oswald mortuary at 11:30 am to be escorted to his final resting place Oakwood Memorial Park 22601 Lassen Street Chatsworth CA 91311.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, FAMILY WILL ACCEPT POTTED PLANTS OR CHILI PLANTS.
We invite all to join us procession with motorcycles or show cars to honor THE MATT INES "CHOLOPINO."

On behalf of my grandmother Benjamita Ines I would like so say she Loved Her son Junior So much.... Whenever they visited Grandma Ines she would always scold her Junior about his long hair and beard. She was always so happy when my Dad and Mary would visit with the grandbabies, that made her so very happy. She loved her Junior very much.

Our deepest condolence, to Mary and the entire family. I didn't know Matt very well but my husband did and has found memories of Matt and the old Movement and Group days. I remember Matt as always being a very kind man never forgetting to greet me and my wife Anna with a big smile and a hand shake when we ran into each other. Going to miss seeing that big smile around San Fernando anymore but I will always remember what a kind man he was and in this life kindness is a very important thing. All us cousins playing cowboys and indians, cops & robbers, hide 'n seek, army, wrestling, tackle football, Hansen Dam, and who knows what during those hot summers.
