Prayers to the family, she will be missed by so many, had a nice conversation with her at the pull in sevierville talked about so much, family, our grandson, her looking forward to the break and holidays. Will miss her smiling and enjoying watching her family pull. Rest in peace you are missed already.

She was like another Mom to my son Justin Jones. I hate her beautiful life was cut short. Prayers for Eddie and the kids.

We are so so sorry to hear of Melanie's passing. She was always sweet and helpful after I bought her parents farm. We send our prayers and love to her sweet momma and brother , her beloved Eddie and her precious children.

Melanie was a beautiful soul and will be dearly missed. Prayers for the family.

Melanie's Obituary

Melanie Jane Willard Wiley, 53, wife of Edward Lee Wiley, passed away on November 11, 2025 at UK HealthCare in Lexington, KY, after a battle with cancer. Born December 6, 1971, in Frankfort, KY, she was the daughter of Barbara Phillips Willard and the late Russell Lyen Willard. 

Melanie graduated from EKU with a bachelor’s in business and went on to work for General Cable for 31 years as a materials manager and was a longtime secretary and announcer with TNT. She was a devoted volunteer for the Woodford County Fair and loved nothing more than truck pulling with her family. Melanie was a longtime member of the Goshen Baptist Church and will be remembered by all those who knew her as being a kind, dedicated, and faithful woman of god. 

In addition to her husband of 35 years, Eddie, and her mother, Barbara, Melanie is survived by her children, Makenzie Leeann Wiley (Lucas Woster) and Jacoby Lyen Wiley (Katie Hampton); her brother, Mark Willard (Hernando Jose Quecan Moliha); her beloved pets, Maggie, Turbo, and Cami; and her honored truck pulling friends and family. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and on Saturday after 9:00 AM until the time of the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jacoby Wiley, Mark Willard, Dean Lickliter, Eddie Carey, Devon Sizemore, Richard Taylor, Jim Corey, and Wayne Phillips.
