Mel was truly one of the kindest and most beautiful souls I’ve ever known, inside and out. We started as coworkers, but it didn’t take long for our conversations and shared laughs to turn into a real friendship. I will always be grateful for that.
I loved talking with her about our daughters and the struggles and joys of motherhood. She just understood. She was incredibly resilient and strong through her battle, carrying herself with such quiet grace even in the hardest moments.
Her girls were her whole world, and the love she had for them was undeniable.
Please accept my deepest condolences. My heart is with her daughters and her entire family during this unimaginable time. She will always be remembered with so much love.

Melissa,
I miss you every single day, my beautiful sister and my ride or die .. Life will never be the same without you. Heaven gained my angel, but my heart lost its other half.
You weren’t just my sister — you were my everything, my biggest supporter, and my forever friend. I will carry your love with me in everything I do.
Mel, there are no words big enough to explain how much I’m gonna miss you. I still hear your laugh, feel your hugs, and your sarcastic comments.
God knew your heart was too pure for this world. Thank you for the memories, the love, and the bond that even death can’t break.
Forever my sister. Forever my best friend. Gone too soon, but will never be forgotten.
Love you forever and ever,
Alisa
