Michael Leonard De Franco

1961 - 2024

Michael Leonard De Franco, age 63, of Cedar Creek, TX passed away Friday, December 13, 2024.

He was born in Berkeley, CA to Leonard & Laura De Franco on November 17, 1961, and married to Christine De Franco on September 12, 1987. He graduated with a Masters degree in Business. He initially worked as a Graphic Designer and later worked as a Marketing Director in the healthcare industry for many years. He was a proud Veteran and served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. He retired from the U.S. Navy as Senior Chief Petty Officer (SCPO). He was a loving husband and father and was always proud of his family. He will be forever loved and deeply missed. 

He is survived by his wife, Christine Ann De Franco of Cedar Creek; son, David Michael De Franco and wife, Heather of Cedar Creek; son, Ryan Duane De Franco of Encino, CA; son, Daniel Andrew De Franco of Cedar Creek; sister, Diana De Franco and brother, David De Franco and wife, Jennifer of Acton, CA; father, Leonard De Franco of Tehachapi, CA; sister in law, LaDonne Hammon of Odenville, AL; nieces and nephews Ally, Wyatt, Alyssa, James, Sarah; great nephew, Nathan; great niece, Alyssa; granddaughter, Caitlin Ann.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Laura De Franco; father and mother-in-law, Duane and Gloria Redden; brother-in-law, Robert Redden. 

His Celebration of Life will be held at Bastrop Providence Funeral Home, 2079 Hwy 71 East, Bastrop, TX 78602 on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 2pm.
