Michael "Mike" Sebald Obituary
Left behind to cherish his memories is his wife the former Deanne M. Scherzer whom he married March 19, 1977; one son, Jason Sebald; one daughter and son-in-law, Heather (Eric) Zissler; the loves of his life his grandchildren, Damon; Laila and Gage; his father; LeRoy (Sally) Sebald; his brothers, Gary (Mary) Sebald; Robert (Suzanne) Sebald; William (Jill) Sebald; his sister, Ann Marie Doan; his sister-in-law; Sherry Barratt; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann (Dzurka) Sebald; his grandmother; Ruth Tracey and his special friend, Randy Sumner.
At the request of Mike cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will take place on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Mary Ann Helie. The family will be present at the funeral home on Tuesday to receive family and friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to Wishes of the Family.

Although we drifted apart as we grew older and while raising our families, Mike was always a great friend. I have many good memories from our ball playing days ever since we were kids. My prayers go out to you, Deanne and the Sebald family. May God be with all of you and comfort you during this time.

We were so sorry to hear about Mike. He was a great man. I remember when I was in junior high I was studying for a test, Mike was helping me study by coming up with Word associations so I could remember the facts. It sure helped me ace the test. We are currently in Las Vegas with our daughters, so sorry we were unable to attend the funeral. We offer our condolences and will keep the family in our prayers during this difficult time.

Though it has been sometime since I've seen Mike, my memories of him are fond and I always enjoyed his kind, fun, manner.
