It seems like whenever we visited our favorite hardware store ; we were treated to the smiling face of Michael, obviously something he inherited from his father. His involvement with helping and serving his patrons was exemplary!
It was our honor to have known Michael and to have shared his expertise. He was just a special human being whom we are grateful to have known. He will be dearly missed.

Tom and Jess and Shannon and Rosie, I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear your sad news. This quote from Winnie the Pooh, "How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." seems to say it all. I pray the love your family and friends are sending will help your through this hard time.

I have been away all summer and just got back so had not heard about Michael. I am so sorry and echo the sentiments of everyone else who remember his kindness and gentleness and who will miss bumping into him at the store. I can still close my eyes and picture Michael and Mike Mailman working and hanging out there as high schoolers. I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts as you readjust yet again to loss and hope that all the wonderful memories you have will support...
