Michael Ziolkowski Obituary

RIPLEY- Michael J. Ziolkowski, 77, of Ripley, NY, was surrounded by loved ones as he went to meet our Lord on March 24, 2026, following a brief illness.


     He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Neta, son, Michael Ziolkowski of West Virginia, daughter, Tracy (Jim) Henry, of Ohio, daughter, Cricket Ziolkowski of Westfield, NY, son, Patrick (Sarah) Ziolkowski of Florida, sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.


     He was preceded in death by his mother, Gerri Vernier, step-father, Harvey Vernier, father, Stanley Ziolkowski, father-in-law, Raymond Freeman; mother-in-law, Ruth Freeman, brother, William Walsh, sister, Lynn Vernier, grandson, Aarien Carvallo, great-grandson, Graeson DeLand, and great-granddaughter, Raelynn Henry. 


     Michael had a firewood business in the summer and enjoyed his winters in Florida with Neta. He also enjoyed antiques, hunting, fishing, yard sales and spending time with his loved ones and friends. 


     Michael recently fulfilled his lifelong dream of traveling to Alaska with his loved ones this past summer. 


     There will be a Celebration of Life on April 25, 2026, from 1-6 


PM at the South Ripley Fire Hall.
