Michele DeVere Fyten

1959 - 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michele D. Fyten, who died peacefully on April 26, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 66.

Michele grew up in Minnetonka, MN, where she formed lifelong friendships. She later made her home in Ramsey, MN, for 42 years, where she and her husband, Steve, raised their family.

A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Michele’s generosity knew no bounds. She took great joy in making holidays magical, cherishing traditions while creating new memories—especially with her grandchildren. Family was always her top priority. Michele also loved traveling—particularly to the Caribbean—gardening, camping, and simply being outdoors with those she loved. She embraced life fully and found
happiness in the company of her family, friends, and cherished pets. Though Michele is no longer with us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Steve; children Nicole (Cory) Swap, Andrew (Rachel), and Cassandra (Paul) Edwards; grandchildren Naomi, Talula, Christian, Elizabeth, Callie, and Connor; sister Darcy DeVere; and many other loving family members and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 12 at 11:00 AM, with a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, 525 Jackson St., Anoka. A celebration of life luncheon will follow at 1:00 PM at Jellybean & Julia’s, 2501 Coon Rapids Blvd., Coon Rapids.
