Mickey Alley age 54 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mickey was born in Galax, Virginia on February 15, 1971 to Burton and Betty Haga Alley.
He is survived by his wife Melissa Roberts Alley of Galax, Virginia; daughters and sons-in-law Kayla and Hunter Grubb of Hillsville, Virginia; Chasity and Chase Vaughan; Payton Alley all of Galax, Virginia; four grandchildren Sage Grubb; Bristol Grubb; Banks Vaughan and Truett Vaughan; sisters Kathy Davis and Joyce Saucedo both of Galax, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Terry and Rachel Davis of Fancy Gap, Virginia; David and Mildred Alley of Woodlawn, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Lee Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.

Very stand up man. Exceptional father and husband. Glowing example of what a man is. I never got to tell him, but having been given the privilege of raising 3 girls, I now understand what I didn't. My heart is with his family who he loved.

I don't have the words but Mickey was a good person and friend. I can remember him riding the school bus when he was just a small boy with his brother David. He was honest and a hard worker. I will miss him. God Bless his family.

So sorry for your loss..I have known Mickey all his life seems like..we were all kinda like family in our younger years....he was one of the most honest people I have ever delt with.i pray for God to wrap his arms around his family and friends. There's just no words to describe how our hearts hurt for all of you. Life is so hard to understand at times. It seems so unfair that Mickey had to leave so soon, but God knew what He was doing. Mickey is at peace and we are praying for peace and comfort for all of you. God bless.
