  A celebration of life for Mickey Dewayne Spurlock, Jr. “MJ”, 22 of Bossier City, LA will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 28, 2026 in Stonewall Baptist Church 807 Eatman St. Bossier City, LA 71111. Officiating will be Pastor Uelyss Reed, Jr.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time.

  MJ was born January 14, 2004 in Shreveport, LA and went home to his Lord and Saviour February 14, 2026 in Bossier City, LA.  He was baptized December 21, 2015 and a member of Stonewall Baptist Church, Bossier City, LA.  MJ’s favorite pastime was playing video games.

  He was preceded in death by his sister, Gabrielle Bolden and paternal great grandfather, Henry Lee Howard.

  Left to cherish his memory include his mother, Shontel Light of Bossier City, LA; father, Mickey D. Spurlock, Sr and wife, Misty of Heflin, LA; son, Rhijon Spurlock and his mother, Sariah Morris of Bossier City, LA; brother, Trevon Bolden of Bossier City, LA; sisters, Akayla and Sakari Bolden, both of Bossier City, LA; maternal grandparents, Donnie and Shelia Light of Bossier City, LA; paternal grandmother, Sandra Spurlock of Bossier City, LA; maternal great grandmother, Florine Jones of Dyersburg, TN and maternal great grandmother, Doris Howell of Bossier City, LA  and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

  Flowers may be delivered to the church Friday, February 27, 2026 from 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.
