Mr. Dallas Young

1952 - 2025

Dallas Young was born on October 31, 1952, in Opelousas, Louisiana, to Cedrius Young, Sr. and Emma Lloyd Thierry Young. He graduated from Hardin-Jefferson High School in 1972 in Sour Lake, Texas. After graduation, Dallas proudly served his country in the United States Army. Later, retired from Suga’s Restaurant in Beaumont, Texas, after many years of service.

On Sunday, September 21, 2025, Dallas began his eternal rest in the bosom of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He passed away at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Emma and Cedrius Young, Sr., and his brothers, Clayton, Clifford, Sherman, Clarence, Cedrius, Jr., Cleveland, Layton, and Talbert, as well as one sister, Thelma.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Ginger Victor (Michael Bell); his grandchildren, Michael Jr., Makenzie, Micala, and Mikael; great-grandchildren Kayden, Khloe, and A’Lyric; goddaughter, Sherica; sister, Johnnie Mae Young Savoy and brother, Adam Young (Melba), Brother-in-law Isiah Harmon (Alice), sisters-in-law; Velma, Gloria, Roxy and special friend Loretta Lynn Irving and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom loved him dearly.
