Mr. Rashad DeOnte Thompson, Sr

1986 - 2023

Mr. Rashad DeOnte Thompson, Sr  age 37 of Houston, TX formerly of Flint, Michigan went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 23, 2023. Affectionately known as “Flint, Shaddy, & Shad" was born on October 27, 1986, in Flint, Michigan, the son of Michael Hartwell and Sabrina Thompson. He accepted Christ into his life in 2009 at Prayer Garden COGIC of Flint, MI under the leadership of Bishop Jerry L. Givens Sr. It was during this time he was reintroduced to DeShawnda Jackson and in 2011 they married. They relocated to Houston, Texas in 2014.

Mr. Thompson was a certified (Splitter) Machine Operator and Forklift Driver. He was also the owner of Imperial Quality Services LLC. He was a hard-working man who was passionate about providing for his family. He enjoyed barbecuing, fishing, and all things water; also dancing, painting, playing spades, dominos, road trips, and video gaming with his son. Although he could not sing a lick, he was the loudest singer in any crowd. Most importantly, Rashad loved God and he adored his family.

Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his brother Ramon Thompson, maternal grandparents Norma Jean Thompson & Dalton Thompson, paternal grandmother Barbara Tolbert.
