Mrs. Ida Mae Lee McDuffie

1955 - 2026

A celebration of life service for Mrs. Ida Lee McDuffie will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida with Rev. Dr. W. D. Sims, Officiating.  A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.  Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.

The late Ida Mae Lee McDuffie departed this life on February 11, 2026, after a brief illness. Ida was born to the late, Elvira King and Nathaniel Lee on February 3, 1955.

Ida came to Brooklyn, New York at the age of seven.  Later in her life she met and later married the late Alexander Lee McDuffie and from this union four beautiful children were born.  Ida found Christ at a very young age.  She was a loving and giving person.  

In passing, Ida leaves to mourn two daughters, Valerie Lee of Tampa, Florida and Christina McDuffie of Bangor, Maine; two sons, Thomas Lee (Mary Lee) of Stone Mountain, Georgia and Alexander Lee McDuffie Jr. of Tampa, Florida;  six grandchildren,  Alexis McDuffie, Tomas Carracci, Jessica Calderini, Alyssa McDuffie, Alexander McDuffie III, and Markel McDuffie all of Florida;  nine great-grandchildren, Josiah Carrasco, Ethan Carrasco, Tomaira Carrasco, Tomas Carrasco Jr., Aayliah Carrasco, Elijah Carrasco, Tomarii Carrasco, Lakaia and Jocelyn of Florida; two brothers, Nathaniel Lee Jr. of New York and Timothy Lee of Florida; two brothers in law, James McDuffie, Cornelius McDuffie of Brooklyn, New York, and a host of nieces, cousins and friends.
