Ms. Aja Simmons Obituary
A celebration of life service for Ms. Aja L. Simmons who passed on Wednesday May 29, 2024, will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at True Life Community Worship Center, 7402 N 56th Street, Tampa, Florida 33617. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E Hanna Ave, Tampa Florida 33610.
Ms. Aja La’Ryn Simmons was born on May 21, 2007, in Tampa, Florida to Henry Simmons and Amanda D. Simmons. Aja was entering her senior year of high school this coming August at Sumner High School. Aja had multiple businesses that she had a bright future in. Aja enjoyed doing hair for her family and friends and she enjoyed creating and baking unique baked treats to sell or cater for events.
Aja was preceded in death by her grandparents, Laura Shorter and Richard Simmons. Aja was a daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend.
She leaves to cherish memories of her with parents, Henry and Amanda D. Simmons; her siblings, Ayonna and Amare Simmons; her grandparents, Sylvia Lark and Harry Morris Jr. (Debra); a host of aunts, uncles and cousins; friends including 3 best friends, Aliyah Brown, Isabella Jackson and Daijah Pringley. There will be a viewing on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 North 29th Street, Tampa, Florida.

I did not know her personally but I do know her Grand mon MS Sylvia for whom I work with. So I pray for the family to stay strong and give it all to our Father God for it was his call to take her in his wings. May she rest in peace.
