It is with very sad hearts that we are acknowledging the passing of a beautiful woman and friend, Ms. Essie Clayborne Stallion. Ms. Essie, 67, of Belzoni, Mississippi, moved to her new resting place in Glory, Monday, August 25, 2025.
The public visitation will be Friday, August 29, 2025, from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at Goodwill M. B. Church, Belzoni, Mississippi.
The Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, August 30, 2025, 11:00 a.m., at Goodwill M. B. Church, Belzoni, Mississippi. The body will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
The burial will be at Sutton Cemetery, Belzoni, Mississippi.
Officiating: Pastor William Earl Reed
Ms. Essie’s memories shall live on in the hearts of her daughter, Brenda L. Stallion, son, Clifton W. Stallion, sisters, Heristine Spivey, Celestine Blackburn, Shirley Everett, Brenda C. Parks, Alvo Henderson, Gwindle Aryeetey, Linda White, Kashonna Young, brothers, Albert Clayborne, Robert Clayborne, Melvin Henderson, Michael Moore, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Essie you were one of my dearest friends when I lived in MS. All of the many laughs and conversations we shared will forever remain in my heart. You had a heart of gold and I pray that you can finally rest. I pray God's peace and comfort for your children siblings family and all who loved and were a part of your life. sleep on my dear friend.
