Nellie Shimakonis Obituary
Nellie H. Shimakonis died July 1, 2014 at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford.
She was born in Ansonia, CT May 1, 1919 and had been baptized as one of Jehovah?s Witnesses in January of 1945. She was faithful until her death.
Nellie was predeceased by her husband Charles and her sister Anna. She is survived by her daughter Pauline Caton and her husband Ronald A.; her grandson Ronnie Caton, all of Wallingford; her son Charles Shimakonis and his wife Barbara of Summerville, S.C.; her grandson Christopher Shimakonis; two great grandchildren, Chad and Chase Shimakonis of S.C.; her sister Frances Gervickas of Ocala, FL; and two nieces and two nephews.
There will be a Memorial Service for Nellie on July 12, 2014 at 4 P.M. at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah?s Witnesses at 1 Cottage St., Yalesville, CT.
