Nicholas Favaloro Obituary

Nick went to be with the Lord on January 20, 2024, after a brief illness and heart failure. He was born September 21, 1979, to Horace and Penny in Antioch, CA.  He knew Christ as his Lord, did well in school, participated in Little League, high school wrestling, and entered the work force at 16 to earn money for his first car, a '79 Monte Carlo.  He became a carpenter at 18 and continued in the trade throughout his life.

Nick later met Tiffany Headley and together they raised their son, Vincent. His past times include spending time with his son, Vinny, camping at Toad Lake, Sears Point NASCAR, river activities including fishing and boating, and being an avid Raiders fan. He loved being surrounded by family and friends.

Nick is survived by his son, Vincent Headley-Favaloro, his grandfather Frank Favaloro, his parents Horace and Penny Favaloro, his brother Christian Favaloro, and his partner Tiffany Headley and her son Caleb Pouard.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 2:00pm - 6:00pm. Funeral services Friday, February 9, 2024, at 10:00am both days at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel. Burial following Holy Cross Cemetery in Antioch.

Nick, my sweetheart How so very much you are missed. I keep remembering your first stirrings of life within me, learning how to take care of you & how patient you were with the so little I knew. How so very proud I always was of you for you were one of the most beautiful children I had ever seen. That cherubic-like voice of yours. How I only needed to speak softly for you to heed my instruction. You & I were always so much a part of each other and now that other part is gone. Knowing you're in complete joy now is my only comfort. But your laugh, your voice, your understanding is absent for me. Save a place at the table for me, sweetie, so we can celebrate together.

I send prayers to all of you, with extra ones for Vinnie. When I think of Nick, I think of his good heart - his love for spending time with his family and friends and helping them when needed. Hold onto each other tight and feel Nick's love for all of you through one another. I love you all.
