Nicholas Marroquin Obituary

Nicholas Alejandro Marroquin, age 24 of Middletown, DE, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on January 28, 2020.

He was born on June 16, 1995 in Guatemala City, Guatemala. He moved with his family to this area in 1996. Nick graduated from Appoquinimink High School in 2013 and went on to attend the University of Delaware to obtain his Associates Degree. Most recently, he enjoyed working at Flowrite Plumbing in Bear, DE.

Nick loved playing soccer, listening to music, playing the guitar, and watching movies. He truly had a passion for animals and nature. He also enjoyed spending quality time with friends, especially Nicky, Nick, Matthew (Peanut), and Zach. From hanging out at each other’s houses, playing video games late into the night and watching the Eagles games, Nick had a close bond with his best friends and loved spending time with them.

He had a kind and generous heart and people will remember his mischievous smile and sense of humor.

Nick is survived by his father Carlos; brother Michael and fiance Emily, brother Christopher, stepmom Judy Smith, stepsisters Kristen and Kelsey, Uncle Harry and Aunt Jackie Lebischak, cousin Steven Lebischak and wife Ruby, and cousin Brian Lebischak.

He was preceded in death by his mother Julia Marie Marroquin.
