Norma O'Reilly

Norma O’Reilly age 90, of Minster, Ohio, died on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Heritage Center, Minster. She was born on April 25, 1928 in Minster, Ohio to the late Edward & Catherine (Homan) Prenger. On June 25, 1949, she married Leo O’Reilly who survives in Minster. She is also survived by her children and in-laws: Cathy Hoying, Angela Niemeyer, Connie Restivo, Kevin & Kerri O’Reilly and Joan & Nick Grieshop; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and siblings and in-laws: Wilfred & Carol Prenger, Lorena & Norman Bohman, Al & Mary Prenger, Ken & Diane Prenger, Tom & Donna Prenger, Norma Jean Prenger, Ralph May and Ruth Ann Walter. She is preceded in death by son Thomas O’Reilly; a daughter Mary O’Reilly; sons-in-law, John Hoying & Vincent Restivo; and siblings and in-laws, Ed Prenger, Marilyn May, and Robert & Doris Prenger. Norma was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Minster and its prayer group, Minster American Legion Auxiliary, Minster Eagles, Minster Historical Society, Minster Boosters and numerous card clubs. She retired from Post Printing. She was on the Minster EMS when it was founded and she and Leo were grand marshals of the 2000 Minster Oktoberfest Parade. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:00 PM on Monday, March 4, 2019 at St. Augustine Church with Rev. Frankline Rayappa celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 1 PM to 4 PM on Sunday March 3, and Monday from 1 PM to 1:45 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the donor’s choice.
