I am devastated to hear Norm has passed away. I live in SLC, Utah so i just found out online. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I will forever love & miss him. May God bless and comfort you all. XXXX

I'm so sorry to hear about Norm! My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My wife and I live in Grand Rapids and if it helps someone/anyone stay with us this fall before/after the service down here.Flint is a good drive from here but it's an option perhaps.

My sincere condolences to my friends on the loss of Norm.I will plan on going to the memorial down here this fall.

Dear Lyttinen Family, So very sorry to hear of Norm's passing. I have not seen him in so many years, but remember what a great guy he was. Always smiling. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Gary and family...We were so saddened and shocked to hear of Norm's passing. We only met Norm a couple of times but always heard what a fun loving great guy he was! Our sympathies to your entire family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

God, please bless Norm's loved ones. I have not seen Norm since high school, however he has always been one of my most favorite people.

View FlowersNorman John Lyttinen, age 48 of L’Anse, MI passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at his home. He was born March 6, 1966 in Hancock, MI son of James Gary and Judith Doris (Hall) Lyttinen. He graduated from Houghton High School in 1984 and then attended Northern Michigan University. He moved to Flint, MI where he worked as a machinist. In 2012 he moved to L’Anse and was working at Johnson & Berry Manufacturing. He loved rock & roll music and going camping at Lake Gerald. Surviving are his father J. Gary Lyttinen of Tapiola; son Trenton Lyttinen of Davison, MI; brother Glen Lyttinen of Tapiola; sister Lisa (Charles) Jukkala of Tapiola; nieces and nephews, Cale (Becky) Lyttinen, Derek (Brooke) Jukkala, and Krista Jukkala. He is preceded in death by his mother. Visitation was on Sunday, July 27th from 12-2 p.m. at Jacobson Funeral Home. A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m.at Jacobson Funeral Home with Rev. John Autio officiating. In the fall of 2014 a memorial services will be held in Davison, MI. The Jacobson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
