Jackie was two years ahead of me in Livingston High School. He graduated in 1964, played basketball, worked at Serv-all Market while attending Merced College. Drafted in 1967, he gave me the keys to his Corvette for me to sell and boy did I enjoy driving that car. HIs first assignment was stationed in Buffalo N.Y. I and a good friend hitch-hiked across the country and stayed in the barracks. About 10 years later, my family visited his family in Hawaii for a week. The last time we got together was in 2014 when he and Judy came back to Livingston for his 50th Class Reunion. Every one in our town who knew Jackie loved him, including me.

Jack was a great friend that when I came to Virginia, we always found time to play golf and enjoy each others time. It truly hurts to lose a great friend. He will always be remembered and upon my return we will play around of golf for my friend.

I worked with Jack while he was in "The Car Business" many years ago. Jack had many stories that he told with great enthusiasm! He was always a good listener and taught me a lot when we worked together. Of course, Jack always had a twinkle in his eye when he spoke of Judy. He was such a kind man.

Jack and I have been friends for approx 40 years. He is the most positive person I have ever met. He loves his family. He is obsessed with a beautiful yard! No weed dare grow in his presence. He planned trips to include the entire family to make wonderful memories together. His passing is a huge loss!!! The world was a better place with him in it. He so enjoyed talking with people, he had no strangers!
