QUEENSBURY-- Pamela J. Arnold, 80, passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer’s on Sunday, January 18, 2026.
Born June 3, 1945, in Kingston, NY she was the daughter of Vernon and Laura (Branigan) Crispell.
Pamela graduated from Kingston High School, class of 1963.
In 1966, Pamela married Norman Risdal, they ultimately went separate ways in 1977. In 1981, Pamela married Daniel Arnold, the two split ways in 1992.
During Pamela’s years of employment she worked as a licensed hairdresser, custodian, and a caretaker for individuals with developmental delays.
Pamela enjoyed gardening, spending time with her dogs and cats, and being with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Pamela was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Blackwell; and brother-in-law, Eric Blackwell.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Diane Ward, Jane Haddad, Scott Risdal, Steven Arnold, Jennifer Arnold, and Francine Arnold; and grandchildren, Kristin King, Alison Barney, Ella Haddad, Jordan Risdal, Anthony Rodriguez, Addison Crispell, Declan Stier, Gemma Stier, George Howard, Daniel Howard, and Zoe Ohye.
A memorial service will be held at the family’s convenience.

Pam was a member of the Albany Stake Custodial Staff , she dedicated her life to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Saratoga Ward, I was blessed to be able to work with her for many years, my thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends at this time , she will be missed. Pam was my sister-in-law . I remember her from only 2 times visiting my brother Dan and his family.Pam was always nice to me and seemed to worry a lot. I believe that dementia patients as well as children are given a pass to the right hand of Jesus. Rest in Peace Pam.
