Port Allen, LA - Funeral services for Patrice Renee Lamotte, 55, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, in Baton Rouge with visitation starting at 9:00 a.m. and the Rosary at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be at Southern Memorial Gardens. Patrice was born February 6, 1970 to the late Melvin John Lamotte, Sr. and the late Celia Goudeau Lamotte. Patrice a resident of Port Allen entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 7, 2025. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from Southern University in 1995. She is a 1988 graduate of Port Allen High School where she was a star athlete in basketball and volleyball. Patrice working in the gaming industry for 23 years and was employed at the Queen of Baton Rouge. She loved her job and patrons. She was also a volunteer fireman with the Lobdell Volunteer Fire Department for many years. Patrice is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Charmaine Lamotte, and one nephew. She is survived by four sisters, Michell (Kenneth, Sr.) Pierce, Deborah (Anthony) Smith, Angela Lamotte, Danielle (Robert, Jr.) Primus and one brother, Melvin Lamotte, Jr.; four nephews Preston (Shannel) Smith, Revay Sr. (Jennifer) Smith, Kenneth Pierce, Jr. and Robert Primus III; four nieces, Jasmine Clark, Reagan, Arin and Demi Primus; three great nephews Zion, Preston II and Revay Jr. Smith, four great nieces, Ariane Smith, Lillian and Lorraine Clark and Reese Pierce, three aunts, Juliette Ponton, JerryDean Hicks, Barbara Franklin and Patricia Lamotte, two godchildren Jarvis Oubre and Cataleya Crockett and numerous cousins. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Cancer Society in her name. Professional Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements.
