Patricia Alice Ehly

1949 - 2024

            Patricia Alice Ehly, of Sellersville, PA, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at her home.  She was 74.

            Born in Lansdale, PA, she was the devoted daughter of the late Elwood C. “Pete” and Dorothy (Laverick) Ehly.  She was a 1967 graduate of Lansdale Catholic High School, Lansdale, PA.

            Patti was employed as an Aerospace Technical Associate for AMETEK, Inc., U.S. Gauge Division, Sellersville, PA, for 35 years until retiring in 2012.  She also served as a Union Representative there for many years.

            She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Sellersville, where she served as the Church Head Usher as well as a CCD Teacher and an RCIA Teacher.  She also volunteered as the organizer of the Church’s St. Patrick’s Day Dance for many years.

            Patti was a fanatical Philadelphia Sports fan first and foremost.  In addition to her career with the Perkasie Glenettes Semi-Pro Softball Team for which she pitched and played outfield, she was an avid golfer and bowler.  Pool, basketball and skiing were some of her other passions.

           A member of the Perkasie Owls Club Nest No. 1224, Perkasie, she was a 45+-year member of the Loyal Order of Moose No. 1539, Sellersville, where she earned the Collegiate Degree.  

            Anyone who knew Patti also knew that she would tell it like it is whether you wanted to hear it or not.

            She is survived by her close friends “New York” aka Maureen and T.J. Lyons, of Perkasie; and many cousins and dear friends.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beautiful dogs, Toby and Zeek.

            Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 North Main Street, Sellersville, PA, where family and friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 AM.  Intement will follow in the adjacent St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery, Sellersville.  If attending Patti’s services, please wear Philadelphia Eagles attire at her request.

            Memorial contributions may be made to the Grand View Health Foundation for Nursing Education, 700 Lawn Avenue, Sellersville, PA  18960.
