Patricia A Generelli

1933 - 2021

Patricia A. (Spillane) Generelli, 88, a lifelong Worcester resident passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Thursday, December 23, 2021.

Patricia was born August 11, 1933, in Worcester, the daughter of the late Timothy and Mary (Donohue) Spillane. Patricia graduated from St. Steven’s High School and then worked for Heald Machine.  She left the workforce to raise a family in 1958.  Patricia returned to the workforce as a credit administrator for Equifax after the children had grown. 

Patricia is survived by her beloved husband, James R. Generelli, and her three loving children, Michael J. Generelli and his partner, Sharon Schmitt of Hull, Debra A. Ofcarcik and her husband David of Paxton, John R. Generelli and his partner Amy Reinlein of Auburn; and a sister, Maureen Connelly of Spencer.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Keisha Generelli, Michael Generelli, Kamielle Luzi, Kristina Generelli, Kyle Ofcarcik, Kendall Ofcarcik, Brody Camuso, and six great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.  

Patricia was a longtime member of Christ the King Church and a volunteer with the Bereavement Committee.   She was a beautiful person with a bright smile and huge heart who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, hosting family dinners, birthday parties and holiday celebrations, travel to Ireland and Italy to visit relatives, golfing, and spending time on the beach.  

The Generelli family are incredibly thankful to Keisha who cared so lovingly and unselfishly in the last months of her life. 

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 29th from 8:30 am to 10:15 am at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St, before proceeding in procession to Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant St where her celebration of Christian burial mass will be held at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
