Patricia Ann Koss

1947 - 2025

Patricia Ann Koss, 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 8, 2025 at Capital Health Fuld Campus in Trenton. Born and raised in Plainfield, NJ, she had resided in Pulaski, NY prior to moving back to New Jersey. Pat spent earlier years working in various healthcare settings, roles she approached with great passion.

She was a big reader and enjoyed crocheting, knitting and sewing.  She could be found sitting at her computer enjoying a decaf coffee with cream and Splenda or listening to her favorite musician, Neil Diamond. She loved her grandchildren, enjoyed driving and was an animal lover.
Patricia was predeceased by her parents William and Carmella Long, and her brother Lawrence Long. She is survived by her daughters: Michelle Young and her husband Raymond of Yardley, PA, Crystal Smolenski and her husband David Jr. of Bordentown, Emmie Koss of Hamilton and her son Glenn Koss, Jr. of Provincetown, MA. Her three grandchildren: Kelly and Amy Young and Nicholas Hotalen.  She is also survived by her brother, William F. Long, Jr. of Wallkill, NY, sister Diane King of Modena, NY and niece Kristie Kennedy and nephew Charles Ficken.

 
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date, where the family will come together to remember and celebrate Patricia’s memory.  She will be thought of often and deeply missed.
