Patricia's Obituary

On April 28, 2025, we said goodbye to our beloved, Patricia L. Lampson. Born on January 10, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a remarkable Woman, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend, who graced our lives for 76 vibrant years and her memory will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew her.

Patricia was known for her strong and independent spirit, traits that she carried throughout her life yet she had a gentle touch and was always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Her resilience in the face of challenges and her unwavering determination were admired by all who knew her.  Patricia's career at Procter and Gamble was nothing short of extraordinary. Her work in research and development led to numerous U.S. patents, a testament to her innovative mind and creativity. Pat was resourceful and independent, always ready to tackle challenges with a fresh perspective.  She loved experiencing new things and lived adventurously racing cars, scuba diving and traveling whenever she could, spending her last few summers exploring National Parks with family.

Pat's greatest joy came from her family. A devoted mother to her four daughters: Karen, Trish (Barry), Amanda, and Jenifer, she instilled in them the values of strength, independence, and creativity. A proud grandmother to six wonderful grandchildren: Charles (Tabby), Andrew, Willow, Riley, Marley and Kyle.  She was their rock, guiding them all with love and wisdom.  Patricia was predeceased by her loving husband, Douglas Lampson, her parents, Charles and Alice Pattoon, Nephew Tony Fischer and Son in law Mat Shuirr. She is survived by her brother, Daniel Pattoon, sisters, Peggy Fischer (Mike) and Peggy Lampson, Nieces and nephews, Nancy, Tammy (Don), Mike (Stephanie), Marybeth (Ryan), David and great nieces and nephews who will all miss her dearly. Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and the countless lives she touched.

As a woman with a determined spirit, her family continues to acquiesce to her final wishes.  There will be no formal services, instead family and close friends are encouraged to join us for an open house and celebration of life at the home of Amanda and Jen on Saturday May 3rd from 3pm-6pm. Please reach out to the family for directions.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you consider making a donation in Patricia’s name to the American Cancer Society, your local SPCA, or the Cincinnati Zoo.

Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home is honored to serve the family during this time.
