Me and mom
My mom sure was a fighter. Getting through cancer twice and still acting like she could go, go, go. Even after moving in with me on hospice she was fiercely independent (as my wife would say) and wanted to live her life her way. I could go on and on about how awesome my mom was. I honestly can't stress enough how much I'm going to miss calling and checking in, or looking out into my sun room and not seeing her there. I hope, if there is a spirit, hers is somewhere she's not suffering any...
